The old farmhouse at Forststraße 17 in Weinstadt-Baach was demolished in July 2019.
Since January 2020, the HAAUS guest and seminar house has been under construction. The design was planned in accordance with the business concept by Studio Ö, led by the architects Anna Wöllhaf and Christoph Brösamle.
The HAAUS is primarily targeting innovative companies and those inspired by the New Work movement. The boundaries between work and leisure are becoming increasingly blurred and organisational flexibility is required. With digitisation being the focus of the new world of work, there is an equally growing desire for calm places to take a deep breath and re-energize. The HAAUS combines these two requirements.
HAAUS offers all creative minds and innovative spirits of the modern world a place to pursue new thoughts away from the grids. The modern new building with its refined industrial look is located in the midst of the green idyll of the Remstal and offers its visitors not only a view of peaceful nature.
The HAAUS consists of two new building sections. The left half of the building houses the guest rooms, which can be accessed via a light-flooded corridor. The right half of the building serves the community: Catering, working, conferencing but also relaxing is conceivable here.
The 16 comfortable rooms, which can be used as single or double rooms, and a co-working area invite you to spend several days here.
The natural surroundings offer many opportunities to round off the days with incentive events such as geocaching or a wine tasting. At the weekend, the HAAUS is the perfect place for individualists to switch off and leave the stress of everyday life behind.
